The world is full of forgotten spaces that are as beautiful as they are haunting. Despite the sadness inherent in witnessing the decaying framework of human creations, there is also beauty in nature’s reclamation of the things we leave behind.
Taking no more than photographs and leaving nothing but footprints, artist siblings Redd and Roxx asked themselves how such forgotten spaces could be imbued with a fresh breath of life. For them, the answer lay in transforming discarded objects and forgotten structures into dreamy fashions and locations for editorial photo-shoots. Draping elaborate avant-garde designs from reclaimed materials found on-site, and shooting these with the intricate backdrop of time-weathered buildings, their photographs demonstrate that things often thought of as ruined and disposable can see a beautiful reinvention
